• The day of Freeride Skiing in La Clusaz

  After a safety briefing on avalanches at the foot of the slopes and the use of the d.v.a, we will evolve in off-piste skiing in the heart of the most beautiful landscapes of Aravis with an incredible view of the Mont Blanc massif.
  These limestone rocky mountains are “the” freeride and free-tour paradise in the northern Alps, both for families and for adrenaline and thrill seekers.
  It is an authentic natural and wild reserve where you can come across many animals such as chamois, ibex or the famous bearded vulture, the largest bird in the Alps, probably during a ski touring trip.
  The freeride ski resort of La Clusaz is located 45 minutes from Geneva or 30 minutes from Annecy, yet is very far from the ski factories where it is no longer possible to make a peaceful trail unless you get up very early.
  chairlifts allow quick access to virgin areas to ski fresh snow without much effort, such as the combe de bella cha just above the typical village of the confines.
  We often take a coffee break at the chalet du lac to admire the famous frozen lake where the madness challenge takes place every year. (international water slide competition) for crazy monoski, snowboard or other slippery gear.
  We will ski in corridors, valleys and sumptuous slopes far from the slopes where it is necessary to access on foot or by gravity using ski lifts from the ski area
  With a good part of the forest skiing sectors up to 1900 m altitude and the other part rising up to 2600 m altitude, it is possible to play on all these types of off-piste terrain:
  We will ski in the forest when the wind is blowing strong or the risk of avalanche is too high or at altitude when the conditions are favorable with a moderate avalanche risk.
  Whatever the climatic conditions we will find what to make good skiing except in some exceptional related to safety.
  Perfect mountains for off-piste skiing, home of great freeride world champion like Sebastien Michaud, Candide Thovex in freestyle or Loic Collomb-Patton.
